We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Jason McTavish has over 15 years of training and experience in spinal adjustment, over 10 years in this same location serving the highlands ranch community.
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
We provide x-ray service on site to avoid delay in getting you the care you need. Careful x-ray analysis is often important in determining if your condition can be helped with chiropractic care, the extent of damage and the number of treatments needed. The images may identify the need for additional tests (i.e. MRI or CT) or if you require care with other providers.
Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aid in recovery and range of motion.
Supportive therapy such as intersegmental traction (roller table), electrical stimulation, flexion/distraction and ice/heat packs may be part of your treatment plan. These modalities help provide a more comfortable adjustment by decreasing inflammation in affected tissues and stabilize your condition more quickly by stretching and exercising the muscles and ligaments around your spine. Therapy is tailored to both your individual needs and phase of care.
By properly supporting the three arches of your foot, custom built orthotics help your feet maintain their structural and functional balance as you stand, walk, or run. Over the counter or "custom fit" arch supports are helpful, however orthotics designed specific to your feet, health condition and activity level will best reduce unnecessary stress and strain on your joints. Our scanner creates a digital image allowing exact measurements of your feet making human error and messy molds a thing of the past.
