Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Jason McTavish has over 20 years of training and experience in spinal adjustment, over 18 years as a Highlands Ranch chiropractor serving the local community.

Massage Therapy

Theraputic massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aid in recovery and range of motion.  We have two experienced massage thearapists that have been helping highlands ranch with their massage needs for over 8 years.  Hot stone, pregnancy, deep tissue and trigger point therapy are just a few techniques our therapist have mastered.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Non surgical spinal decompression therapy is a computerized traction table.  This technology is designed to decrease the pressure inside a herniated or bulging disc with the goal of restoring nerve flow to "pinched nerves".  This therapy should be considered for anyone experiencing numbness, tingling, or pain in their arms or legs.  A thorough spinal exam and series of orthopedic test can determine if this treatment is appropriate for your condition.

Shockwave Therapy

We are excited to introduce extracorporeal shockwave therapy to the Highlands Ranch chiropractic community.  This new technology has been proven effective for conditions such as golfers elbow, tennis elbow, carpel tunnel syndrome and plantar fasciitis, as well as rotator cuff and Achilles tendonitis.  Breaking down scar tissue and promoting soft tissue healing can usually be achieved in only four sessions.  Chiropractic treatment  is not mandatory with this therapy.  A focused exam is necessary to determine if this treatment is appropriote.

Corrective Excercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Supportive Therapy

Supportive therapy such as intersegmental traction (roller table), electrical stimulation, flexion/distraction and ice/heat packs may be part of your treatment plan.  These modalities help provide a more comfortable adjustment by decreasing inflammation in affected tissues and stabilize your condition more quickly by stretching and exercising the muscles and ligaments around your spine. Therapy is tailored to both your individual needs and phase of care.

Custom Orthotics

By properly supporting the three arches of your foot, custom built orthotics help your feet maintain their structural and functional balance as you stand, walk, or run. Over the counter or "custom fit" arch supports are helpful, however orthotics designed specific to your feet, health condition and activity level will best reduce unnecessary stress and strain on your joints.  Footlevelers is the brand prescribed in this Highlands Ranch chiropractic office.
